Drove design/layout/sheet metal, including detail and installation drawings for U/D floor beam, seat track, stabilization, stanchion, and over-head tie stow bin on 747-8 sections 44/46.

Provide production support to solve the ELR’s and CAR’s problem for747-8 Passenger and Freighter.

Support Goodrich to upload 789-9 Propulsion Nacelle models to ENOVIA system.

Structural Design Engineer (Contract, Military Division, UG NX4) 2006-2007

Responded to request for Correction Action Plans and Supplier Information Request for C-17 Airframe Center and Aft Fuselage. Created detail and installation drawings for special projects, including intricate air deflector troop door lock and splice cap upper cargo door jamb.

7/03 - 12/06 NORTHROP GRUMMAN CORP. El Segundo, CA. Structural Design Engineer (Contract, UG NX2)

Designed varied components using rapid prototyping and 3D modeling to create highly accurate drawings and detailed designs of F/A-18 E/F aft fuselage. Collaborated with stress analysts and manufacturing engineers in new parts design/revision. Range of design included bracket hinges, engine bay door lockset bushings, stabilator spindle support; ECS ram air exhaust, and rudder.

Structural Design Engineer (Contract, National Missile Defense Division, UG II) 2002-2003

Created detail and installation drawings for 3rd-stage aero shell and BV-5 aft skirt mechanical assembly. Innovated assembly designs, creating 1st State Wire Harness Assembly drawing, and BAM Aero shell Assembly fixture.

Assigned to C-17 Airframe Center and Aft Fuselage. Design clip support fairing of main landing gear door. Created detail and installation drawings for monolithic cargo floor bulkhead, aft barrel splice, longeron upper cargo door jamb, and splice floor beam. Provided EO’s, MBD models and EPD drawing.

Structural Design Engineer (Contract, Space Station Division, UG II) 1996-2000

Assigned to Segment Zero of International Space Station. Designed bracket support radiator panel. Created detail, assembly and installation drawings for link-airlock spur, energy absorber, secondary power distribution assembly, signal condition unit, thermal blanket and shroud. Created stage on-orbit installation drawings.
