CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
2016–Present: President/CEO and co-founder RadiateBuzz, Inc. McLean, Virginia
Building an innovative start-up to revolutionize sales collaboration for large B2B selling organizations. Despite $33 Billion spent annually on sales enablement, 75% of sales go sideways. RadiateBuzz’s product, JustSoldIt, is the only system that can instantaneously deliver an expert to sales reps at their time of need, enabling them to win more deals and helping companies close this expensive gap. 2005-2016: CFO, Expression Pathology, Inc. dba OncoPlex Diagnostics Rockville, Maryland
Provided financial, sales & marketing, and strategic leadership for this private biotech company. Played a key role in guiding the company from start-up to product commercialization, and successfully closed a nine- figure acquisition by NantOmics in May 2015. Stayed on for a year to insure successful integration.
Instrumental in recruiting new CEO and working with him to instill cultural beliefs which rejuvenated the esprit de corps and created an environment encouraging innovation and growth.
Worked hand-in-hand with the CEO to raise over $32 million in equity and convertible debt financing. Hired and led team, including legal counsel, valuation advisors, and auditors, for all due diligence, term sheet negotiations, final documentation and execution.
Implemented the financial infrastructure, including planning, budgeting, and reporting which fostered transparency and cross-functional collaboration, re-enforcing a strong foundation for performance.
Worked closely with key executives and HR on needs definition, recruiting (60 FTEs), onboarding, and implementing performance processes, consistent with the corporate vision and cultural beliefs.
Developed product, pricing, and reimbursement models and worked closely with key executives and consultants to optimize the revenue and cash flow strategy.
Upon exit of VP Sales & Marketing, CEO requested that I lead a go-to-market strategy that resulted in double digit month-over-month sales growth.
In concert with the CEO, prepared Board presentations and shareholder updates. During acquisition negotiations, maintained closed communications with all parties to work through challenging issues, thus clearing the path for a successful close. Led all closing activities.
