EDUCATION
UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN – ABERDEEN, UNITED KINGDOM
Master of Science in Subsea Engineering Sep 2013 – Nov 2014 COVENANT UNIVERSITY – OTA, NIGERIA
Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Petroleum Engineering Sep 2006 – Jul 2011 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Provided reservoir engineering support by evaluating resources and supporting the successful delivery of a Field Development Plan (FDP) within a 1-month period, which was targeted at delivering 1.97Tcf of gas with a phased development strategy.
Supported the re-evaluation of developable resources of an already existing Field Development Plan which resulted in an upward review of resources by over 20Bscf to an 817Bscf project.
Co-ordinated the preparation of the 2018 Well, Reservoir, Field Management (WRFM) plan for the assets (a total of 7 fields) within the hub and provided the reservoir engineering evaluations to support the activity.
Co-ordinated and supported the initial completion activity of an exploration well during the second phase of the field development, where we successfully delivered 215Bscf of gas from a smart well completion option
Supported the delivery of 2 sidetrack opportunities to Fastrack the delivery of 1.24Tcf of Gas
Coordinated the delivery of over 20 pore pressure predictions spanning through the drilling of new wells, to the workover of existing oil wells and the abandonment of wells that had reached their end of life after it had been established that there were no further opportunities for such wells. WORK EXPERIENCE
RESERVOIR ENGINEER
SHELL – PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA Oct 2015 – Present
I interpreted well test data and static gradient data, stored in the Bottom Hole Pressure (BHP) database for future use in simulation activities.
I conducted reservoir simulation studies to evaluate resource volumes for business planning.
I analyzed well and reservoir performance in order to recommend safe and effective WRFM practices.
I wrote a PVT acquisition program to acquire bottom hole samples from 4 reservoirs, QC’d the lab results, characterized data and used information for simulation models.
I designed and QC’d 5 SCAL programs, stored data and used data to define Relperm parameters for input into simulation models.
WELL INTERVENTION ENGINEER
EXXONMOBIL – AKWA IBOM, NIGERIA Jan 2012 – Aug 2013
Designed and monitored safe and efficient installation of cost-effective well completions operations and devised methods of improving oil and gas well production and supervised well modifications and gas lifts (valve installation, retrieval, operation and optimization) for over 100 wells, consequently maximizing the oil and gas recovery of the wells.
Ensured that the well completion activities from concept, through design and well construction phases met the technical specification requirements of the well design, complied with company policy and are performed safely, on time and within budget.
Collaborated with and provided technical support to sub-surface and drilling engineers on completions and well intervention business plans and opportunities on the JVO fields associated with offshore Nigeria.
Ensured accurate, complete and timely reporting of daily operations as well as effective management of project costs and schedules by maintaining a computer database for ongoing jobs, daily reporting end-of-well reports and monitoring progress on Peloton WellView (well database).
Planned and oversaw the installation and maintenance of completions equipment including tree, wellhead maintenance, subsurface safety valves and surface controlled subsurface safety valves on JVO wells.
Designed and conducted gas lift installation for several wells on a third of the JVO fields for gas lift completions campaign to optimize and boost productivity in the field.
Coordinated well intervention operations including work-overs of existing completions, slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, well testing and wellhead maintenance activities for the 2011/2012 maintenance campaign to a completion rate of about 83% on all Joint Venture Operations (JVO) wells.
I was also President of the Mass Literacy Society for the National Youth Service Corps Eket Chapter and with the help of my fellow officials and group members, visited schools, market communities and a hospital to give tutorials, distribute stationary, books to the pupils and give health talks of pre and postnatal care to nursing mothers and talks on Lassa Fever awareness.
WIRELINE/LOGGING INTERN
HALLIBURTON – PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA Apr 2010 – Sep 2010
Analyzed and interpreted formation well logs, directional survey information and other wellsite data.
Maintained equipment inventory and supervised the movement of such equipment to and from the wellsite. Also performed rig-up and rig-down duties
Maintained a computer database for ongoing jobs, daily reporting and end-of-job reports.
Reviewed Certificate of Conformity (COC) of delivered equipment and ensured they would withstand the specified design pressure by a factor of safety.
Operated electronic imaging tools (nuclear, seismic, and gamma ray) to measure and distinguish the downhole formation viscosity, density, resistivity, permeability, fluids types and cement bond conditions.
Operated and setup wireline tools for drilling, formation evaluation measurements and data transmission to surface workstation during drilling, work-over and wireline operations.
Utilized sidewall core guns under supervision in the zone perforation and well completions job on the Panocean operated well in the Edo basin. Carried out cement bond log analysis to ascertain the cement completions integrity on the well, ran and set a plug at a depth of 8500ft., perforated the already completed well at a production zone of 10, 000 ft., tripped out and re-perforated at a production zone of 10, 500 ft.
