Liaison to the engineering team to determine the best supplier for repair/exchange of power supplies and other repairable parts. First point of contact if a demand spike caused a shortage to determine which was the best method for replacement.
Mentoring
* Mentored hundreds of international new hire team members while teaching them how to use the planning and buying tools over a seventeen-year period.
* Volunteered time yearly to assist the non-English speaking personnel on how to better understand English common colloquialisms we use that are not grammatically perfect.
Inventory Control
* Administered inventory for quarterly reports resulting in always making our management team reach their targets. Typically, we would come in at least $500K under budget.
* Served as “single point of contact” for all activities related to on time deliveries and expedites. These actions were essential to getting us internal audit results of 100%.
* Led partner/customer meetings resulting in problem resolution including negotiating improved lead times and reduced unit costs which resulted in year over year savings for HPE of more than $1M.
