WORK EXPERIENCE
March 2018 to March 2018: PATH
Position: Research Assistant
Duties:
Conducted Focus Group Discussions in community health units.
Conducted key informant interviews; with sub-county HIV leads and with HIV service
providers in health facilities.
Supported transcription of qualitative data.
Coded and verified data in accordance with the specified research protocol and coding
procedures.
Reviewed and edited data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
October 2017 to December 2017: PATH
Position: Data Clerk
Duties:
Participate in an orientation on HHA Savannah System (MIS) and data elements of HHA
registers
Review the facility and community registers to ensure all sections are completely filled
and perform any cleaning as may be required on the forms
Serialize all the HHA data by month to ensure easy sorting before entry into the MIS
system
Enter the HHA data forms into the MIS system
Sort the HHA clients already entered by month and County and submit to supervisor
daily

Position: Volunteer
Duties:
Working as a volunteer in the society with the aim of promoting sustainability and economic
development I was able to accomplish the following:
I actively participated in the initiation of new projects and development of existing
projects at Taita Taveta community. The project aimed at generation of income to the
persons in the society and hence improve their living standards to secure a better
livelihood.
Addressed community issues and promoted community development.
Mobilizing women groups and youth groups through training and mentorship programs
that empowered them economically.
Working closely with people with disabilities (PWDs) in the initiation of suatainable
group projects, training on entrepreneurial skills, marketing and credit management.
Identified opportunities in gap market and initiation of business activities through
entrepreneurship.
Introduction of online marketing strategies and training the people on market value added
chain supply.
Being attached with DaTu Sawazisha Fund, I helped the finance department in the
establishment of a quick way to analyze, monitor and evaluate data by the use of SPSS
(statistical package). This eased the operations of activities and future prediction in the
performance of the organization.

Duties:
I actively participated as a sales and marketing representative in mobilizing sales
in Nakummat supermarket at Eldoret. I gained good experience and operational
skills in this field.
Engaging with customers and convincing them to buy our products, creating
awareness of the product in the market and importance of giving our product the
first priority ever.
Delivery of product knowledge to the customer and mobilizing sales at large. This
added to my marketing and sales skills.
Giving feedback to the IC sales representative on the performance of their
products in the market and consumer preference.
November 2014 to December 2014: Firstdata Research Consultants Limited, contracted by
UNICEF, Kenya

Duties:
Field work survey
Visiting selected households within the county to collect views on sanitation and
hygiene practices at the households.
Participate, moderate, take notes and tape record focus community discussions.
Organizing data and presenting it on time to the supervisor.
Cooperating with team members to ensure that our work was into perfection and
