•Team leader for our bariatric program, which included 4 surgeons, 3 did laparoscopic and open cases, and 1 surgeon who did all open cases with 20 plus years experience.
•Duties included circulating and scrubbing general cases
•Our program performed 20-30 gastric bypasses a week.
•Also circulated ENT, urology (we obtained a Davinci robot times 2) for laparoscopic prostatectomy’s and hearts, plastics, neurology, orthopedics, eyes (retinas and cataracts), peripheral vascular, cardiovascular, and colon surgeries (including laparoscopic).
•Plastics included breast augmentations, abdominoplasty, paniculectomes, endoscopic brow lifts, blephs, face-lifts, and full body lifts.
•ENT consisted of tonsillectomies, typanoplasties, oral maxilla facial, lafortes, and endoscopic nasal surgeries.
•GYN consisted of total abdominal hysts, A & P repairs, vaginal hysts, diagnostic laps, hysteroscopies, and also working with fertility specialists.
•Urology consisted of cryoblation of kidneys and prostates, prostate seeding, prostatectomy’s, and all types of cysto procedures with and without stents.
•Neurology consisted of backs and necks with microscope and brain lab assistance, as well as craniotomies.
•Also a procedure was done for pituitary tumors, with ENT and Neuro.
•Peripheral vascular consisted of AAA, fem pops, and carotids.
•Worked with one surgeon in the cath lab and Ortho consisted of total joints, hip pinning, roddings, nailings, and arthroscopy.
