Responsibilities :

Establish control strategies, develop P&ID’s. Monitor, Control, Report project budget, man-hours and schedule.

Size control valves, safety relief devices and flow metering devices.

Specify, Select and Purchase Instruments, Valves, DCS, PLCs, analyzer systems including chromatographs, exhaust gas stack monitoring systems, weigh systems for monitoring, controlling and alarming of process equipment and systems.

Prepare Instrument data sheets for client review and approval and for vendor inquiry packages.

Evaluate vendors’ proposals and application of various types of measurement and control technologies and make selection.

Prepare and Submit O&M Manuals for client’s PMO generation.

Field assistance- installation and wiring, calibration, loop checks, commissioning and startup (supervised Union and Non-Union crews).

Develop Logic Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Ladder Diagrams, Installation Details, check I/E drawings, control panels, mechanical packaged systems, interface with electrical equipment including, MCCs, VFDs. Familiar with 480 V and under power distribution.

Review/Approve Configurations and Test procedures for FATs & SATs performed on DCS, PLC and control panels. Programmed A-B PLC and Delta V DCS.
