PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Machining Lead Kaman Composites – Vermont, Inc. - Bennington Vt
12/2006 to Present
Responsible for up to 15 employees across three shifts.
Implemented 3 Heijunka scheduling boards in May 2016.
Cross trained all employees on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines and Trak Mills.
Maintain monthly tooling budget.
Responsible for Kronos time keeping, payroll, overtime, and weekend work plan.
ISO/NADCAP Certification
Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly metrics.
Attend daily Andon meetings to create immediate corrective actions.
Current department scrap levels under 1% while on time delivery is at an all-time high.

Set up and operated Forge machines in the Large Engine Department.
Inspected both block and final forge jobs using micrometers and light gages.
