I handled a book of business for my Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance clients. This consisted of renewing their policies, making any changes, billings, issue Certificates of Insurance, Evidences of Insurance, Certificates of Eligibility, Insurance ID Cards. I would handle and problems or concems they had. We would start working on our renewals 90 days in advance. I would review each client and see if we could place them with any of our other carrier to provide better coverage or get a lower premium. After I got our renewal figures together, we would prepare a Renewal Proposal for them. If you was fortunate enough to keep the account, you would immediately send written request to the company to renew the account, issue any Certificates of Insurance or Evidences of Insurance, issue Auto ID Cards they would need. I would prepare a list of all certificates issued during the yeai- and they would mark the ones they needed renewed. The certificates had to be issued prior to their renewal.

When I got a request to quote a new account, I would prepare an application and send it to several companies to get the best quote and best coverage.

After you received all of your quotes, you would prepare an Insurance Proposal and deliver it to them. In the event our customers need any new coverage, I would get them quotes and go over the quotes and issue the policy or coverage for them.
