3D Modelling and Analysis of Composite Aircraft Fuselage. In Progress

Design and Analysis were performed on Aircraft Fuselage by using Unigraphics/ NX Cad and Ansys (Fluent) for composite laminate which has more strength and dynamic properties compared to conventional material. Composite analysis is carried out for the following type of composite laminates (Symmetric laminate, Cross-ply laminate, Angle-ply laminate, Anti symmetric laminate and Balanced laminate). Static and Modal Analysis were carried for composite laminates at which deflections, stress and natural frequencies are calculated and compared.

Project and Lab Work:

Non- Thesis: Non-Premixed Combustion of Twin Valveless Pulse Jet Engine. Jan2017 – Dec 2017

Description: Design and Analysis of Pulse Jet performed using Unigraphics (3D modelling) and ANSYS (Fluent). This project was based on an extension to previous research work to document new results. The final results were noted as reduced Acoustics and increase in Thrust by altering certain functions of Engine Design and Fuel Inlet.

Energy Management Applications: Carbon capture sequestration Technologies in Green House Effect

Computational Fluid Dynamics: Non-Premixed Combustion of Discrete Ordinates radiation model.

Artificial Neural Networks: Artificial Neural Networks in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Over Haul solutions.

EXPERIENCE

Design Engineer Intern Savannah, Georgia

TECS, LLC – DER Consulting Services Nov 2017 – Current

Description: Design of VIP interior Closet and Side Ledge for installation on Boeing 787 aircraft. Interior furnishings are made from Honeycomb Panels and assembled with Panel Pins, and Mortise and Tenon joints. Closet consists of Drawers and Coat Rod and is attached to the aircraft structure with Tie rods and Floor Fittings. Performed calculations to analyze the attachments to meet the required structural loads. Supported Design review meetings and provided Production support.
