Work Experience
Huili Information System Company, Nanjing, China Nanjing, China
Intern as Tech Service June 2016 – August 2016
Followed an entire project to install and set up the service system for the Fire Department of Nanjing, including initializing the server, setting up the user authorization, local exchange and storage machines
Independently set up the security system by self-learning and consulting with mentors
Helped enterprise purchase a variety of hardware facilities including the local exchange machine, the storage and the server
Attended 6 business meetings in the company as a major member
Joined team technology discussions and learned from colleagues
Emory Chinese Teaching Assistant Aug 2015 - May 2016
Organized TA sessions twice a week for 30-40 students in Chinese 100 level and 200 level, reviewed class materials with students and helped them prepare for exams
Offered one-on-one working sessions and online consolation to students
Provided students’ feedbacks to the professor in order for her to adjust the pace of the class
Front-end Development
Senior Project “Webpage and Database design for Emory Course Evaluation”: Webpage Developer
1.Designed a webpage on Google cloud that allow Emory University students to write a course evaluation for each course they took and allow professors to view their evaluation scores
2. Created a database for the system and implemented it on the webpage
Selected Academics Projects
Senior Project “Modeling and Simulation of Disease Propagation”: Independent Researcher
1.Simulated SR, SIR, SIS, SIRS epidemic models using Python and GVEdit
2.Examined social network model constructed from cell phone usage data in a database from Iceland to analyze and predict the infection rate of an epidemic
3.Modeled the disease propagation using multiple social network models including lattices network, small-world network and scale-free network
Course Physics 444w Advanced Lab : Independent Researcher
1.Project “Spectrometer interfaced with Arduino”: Wrote a Python script to control a spectrometer interfaced with an Arduino microcontroller and tested the wavelength of neon light and mercury light
2.Project “Transient Heat Conduction”: Measured and analyzed the “Cold Front” passing through a material dipped in ice water by measuring the bending rate changes of a laser shot through the material
3.Project “Operational Amplifiers”: Built different operational amplifiers in circuit and used them to perform voltage-amplification, mathematical differential and integration
4.Project “LabVIEW”: Wrote a LabView program to generate the current-voltage curve of a diode
