JOURNEY MEDIA (2016-Present) – Producer/Editor of website and Youtube music channel, “The Rhythm Space,” devoted to fostering international cultural awareness and diversity through the administration of a global music platform.

DOCUMENTARIES/ DOCU-SERIES/PROFILES

BET – “Vindicated” (2011)

Edited a two part, hour long docu-series on the exoneration of “Joyce Ann Brown” who, in 1980, was wrongfully convicted of armed robbery and murder in Dallas, Texas. Co-edited the exoneration of “Herman Atkins” episode. JOURNEY MEDIA – (2008-2010)

Produced and edited a long form oral history video on a distinguished African-American elder (JPL Engineer- retired) designed to educate young people about the struggles and triumphs of their predecessors. Produced and edited short form promotional web video profiles for small businesses resulting in increased media exposure and sales.

VERIA TELEVISION/ECHO ENTERTAINMENT – “The Incurables” (2008) Produced, wrote and edited a half hour profile on Glenn Moore’s successful use of alternative medicine, which helped mitigate the damaging effects of colon cancer, providing further evidence that certain alternative medical practices can be extremely effective.

TV ONE – “Turn Up The Heat” (2006)

Edited a one hour profile of Restaurateur G. Garvin which resulted in increased mainstream media exposure for this talented chef and entrepreneur.

BARBOUR/LANGLEY PRODS. – “Target USA” (1988)

Edited a one hour documentary, narrated by investigative journalist Jack Anderson, which forecast the imminent threat of a terrorist attack within the United States well before the Oklahoma City bombing and the two World Trade Center attacks.

TRIBUNE ENTERTAINMENT – “The Making of Black Mayors” (1985) Edited a one-hour documentary on the phenomena of cities throughout America electing high profile African American mayors during the 1970s and early 1980s –– a precursor to the election of President Barack Obama in 2008.

NATIONAL/LOCAL NEWS (1984-2000)

NBC4 (1991-2000) – Supervised Editors and edited news stories, sports highlights and special features for daily local newscasts.

FOX Television (1993) – Edited twelve minute feature stories for “Front Page,” a one hour national news magazine.

CNN (1992-1995) – Edited feature stories for national newscast. FNN (1986-1991), (now CNBC) – Edited financial news stories and sports highlights for daily national newscast. MUSIC/VARIETY

UNITED NATIONS TELEVISION (2012) – “A Celebration of the Musical Heritage of the African Diaspora” Edited portions of United Nations concert for NAACP Image Award consideration. The concert was held to promote and support the construction of a permanent memorial commemorating the victims of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. The memorial entitled “The Ark of Return” was unveiled at the UN in 2015. TV ONE – “Tom Joyner’s Morning Sky Show” (2004)

Edited Premiere Episode (90 minutes of music, stand-up comedy and skits) which successfully launched this radio personality’s career into television.

Editor of an obscure independent film short, "I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her On A Meat Hook, And Now I Have A Three-Picture Deal At Disney,” produced by Kamala Lopez. The satirical film was the directorial debut of actor Ben Affleck before his rise to national fame. NETWORK TELEVISION PRODUCTION
