Represented large non profit organization and advised on advocacy strategies for proposed federal legislation on the issue of menstrual equity. Drafted and presented materials such as briefs, Memorandum, and Research Plans, to client based on research and interpretations of legislative policies. Negotiated solutions to legislative policies with the appropriate organizations.

Advocated to Congressional staffers on behalf of client. Planned and conducted a Congressional Briefing on Capitol Hill. Drafted a report in conjunction with the Congressional Briefing which included a legal analysis and interpretation of proposed state and federal legislation.

Responded to Federal agency notice comments concerning renewal of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Hattians, Salvadorians, Hondurans, and Nicaraguan status holders. Provided comments and analysis on Federal notices regarding immigration policy. Worked with advocacy groups, non-profit organizations and law firms on legislative solutions and proposal concerning current immigration policies.

Headed the 50-state report card initiative which analyzed and interpreted state unauthorized practice of immigration laws (UPIL), and notary laws, and allocated grades based on the state’s level of protection.
