Dear Human Resources Person,
I am applying for a position in Electronics as an Assembler or Wireman. My experience and skill level spans from Electrical/Electronic wiring to assembly of stuffing printed circuit board, as well as, Mechanical and Cable/harness Assembly. I am a flexible, dependable, skilled professional with a great attitude, who is looking for an opportunity. I am willing to work first or second shift.
I am computer literate and have ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment, possess good communication, analytical, and organizational skills, and have the ability to work well with stringent deadlines, work with little supervision, or in a team-oriented environment.
I can read prints, cut, measure, and crimp, solder or pen a cable wire to a connector. I have a working knowledge of several different cable packages and I have built harness assemblies to encase a cable assembly with break out points. In addition to reading a print, I also recognize electronic and electrical symbols, read a schematic and follow work instructions. I have a working knowledge of Bill of Materials, Electro-Mechanical Drawings, Wire Lists and ESD procedures. I worked with all types of solders except gold. As for the PCB assembly, I check all paperwork before beginning then I prep, stuff, cut leads and solder. Afterward I QC boards for errors and adhere to the company procedures.
I have a work related experience and knowledge in Inventory Control and a Materials Management Certificate which does qualify me to add this job to my employment list. See the resume for jobs that allowed utilization of these skills.
While my resume gives you an overview of my skill set, I would like to arrange for an interview to discuss whether I can be a good candidate to fill your employment needs.
