Project: Wall Street Concepts to Broadridge migration

Ameriprise’s client tax statements, including brokerage, insurance and annuities, are currently produced through vendor relationship with Wall Street Concepts (WSC). Contract with WSC is expiring soon. Through the course of renegotiating an extended WSC contract, alternative vendors were vetted. Broadridge is the only viable alternative vendor and the 5-year financials show a $2.8M benefit over the 5-year term to convert to Broadridge

Applications: Client Correspondence Center (CCC): This is a web-based letter generating system used in Ameriprise for sending servicing letters to clients. Approximately 2000 servicing advisors across USA and India access CCC.

Custodial Operations Support (COPS): This is a system designed to maintain and track data for qualified plans. It also generates the tax data file to CTAX (year end, amendments, April ESA and May 5498) for qualified plans.

Consolidated Tax Statements (CTAX). This application receives and processes feed files from different source systems to generate tax data for the print vendor (Wall Street Concepts) .

Roles & Responsibilities:

Single point of contact (SPOC) for CCC, COPS and CTAX applications.
