Greetings,
I’m attaching a copy of my resume for consideration for the Manufacturing Engineer position you have open. I’m confident that as we discuss my experience and background you will agree I am an excellent candidate for this position.
My experience with a variety of manufacturing environments makes me uniquely qualified for this position.
While working with a connector company, I designed numerous injection molds – both for plastic and rubber components. These molds ranged in complexity from 2 pin to 64 pin connectors. I also developed a modular system that was used with Cincinnati Milacron molding machines that increased on-line run times by as much as 87%.
I have written numerous procedures (Quality & SOP) for a variety of manufacturing environments (i.e. molding, machining, and product assembly).
I have extensive experience working with and updating/modifying various Quality systems. These systems include ISO, AS9100, BMS (Boeing Quality System). I also have experience serving on MRB Teams.
I have been assigned several NPI projects including programs with General Motors (Chevy Avalanche), John Deere, CASE, New Holland, and Hyster/Yale. All of these projects required extensive customer interaction – both in-house and traveling to the customer’s location. Interfacing with engineers, product managers, and corporate leadership were among those participating in “cradle to grave” projects.
A variety of expensive equipment purchases were required to reach customer’s requirements in a variety of manufacturing environments. I created several Capital Expenditure Reports justifying major purchases that clearly and accurately outlined ROI of the equipment.
I have traveled extensively across the U.S. and internationally to provide support for customers.
I look forward to speaking with you soon about this opportunity.
Regards,
Tom Crewdson
