• A web app that provides users with data pertinent in planning for home, career, and life.
• I worked on this project as part of a collaborative effort in which my contribution was to research the available APIs, configure those APIs to parse the data for use in the app. I also built the d3.js box plot graph for displaying city climate data and wrote most of the JavaScript and jQuery for the app.
• The technologies used in the application include HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, d3.js, jQuery, and Firebase.
• API calls were made to Google, careeronestop.org, numbeo.com, greatschools.org, openweathermap.org, ncdc.noaa.gov, and pixabay.com.

Money Tree (Houston, TX) Jan-July 2018
React Developer
• The purpose of this app is to provide users with a visual representation of cash flow trends, both now, and at future intervals. It also provides a breakdown of user expenses by category over the preceding 30 days. A user can also make a comparative analysis of the trend lines both with and without a major purchase input (car, home, boat, etc.). The comparative analysis feature provides instant data to the user relevant to the potential purchase, including monthly payment amount, total amount to be paid over loan, and total interest.
• Built using React.js, MongoDB, Plaid, Node.js, Bcrypt.js, React-vis.js, Regression.js, Reactstrap.js, Bluebird.js, Moment.js, Lodash.js, Passport.js, Swagger-express-mw.js, Validator.js, Mongoose.js, Passport.js, Jsonwebtoken.js, Chai.js, Puppeteer.js, Jest.js, Mocha.js, React-router.js, and many others.
• Conceptualized, designed, and developed the graphic displays and mathematical calculations using a weighted linear regression model inside React, and used React-vis to display that data to the user.
• Transactional balance data was not available per transaction, requiring the use of a recursive strategy to calculate data points.
• Used an enterprising manipulation of state in React to provide the user with a progressive stepping feature for all large numerical inputs.
• Plaid was used as a third-party aggregator for collection of account data.
• Secure methods and protocols were followed to ensure protection of sensitive data.
