Supervised personnel in the maintenance and construction of the railroad. Managed operations on numerous railroad projects including rail, cross tie and fastener renewal, switch/turnout replacement and high voltage/third rail maintenance.
Studied site plans and construction drawings so to effectively collaborate with all involved departments within WMATA and other outside contractors.
Developed, drafted, and presented site-specific work plans and scheduled personnel for capital funded projects. Established time lines for work progressions along with safety and contingency plans. Submitted request for track usage and procured equipment and materials.
