I am a CRT with 27 years experience, 10 of which was spent as a traveler. I am experienced in most respiratory modalities of care including NICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU, emergency care, Rehab, pediatrics, long term, floor therapy and some educations exp in training of nurses for respiratory equipment, art. line placement etc..
In my travels I have gained experience in a wide variety of ventilators, blood gas machines, and other respiratory equipment. Some of the ventilators include PB 7200 and 840, all Bear series including Bear 1000, the Galileo, Servo 300's, 900's and the Servo I, infant and adult Star's, Bear cub, Sechrist, Babylogs and High frequency vents such as the 3200A along with Various Bipaps and cpap machines, bedside pft's, various Blood gas machines and some bedside EEG's. I also have experience with fast track weaning, RT driven protocols and several different brands of computer charting and EKG machines.
EXPERTISE AND ACHIEVEMENTS
I am an NICU specialist as well as all adult ICU's ER, floor therapy, pediatrics and Rehabilitation. I have had ACLS, NRP and BCLS. I have been exposed to many different levels of care, many different types of equipment and forms of charting in my travels and have gained varied knowledge and experience from a wide range of hospital settings.
