EXPERIENCE
Perma-Fix Northwest, Richland, WA 08/2015 - present
Senior Health Physics Technician
Mandatory procedure compliance, maintain radiological work records and logs as required, attend pre-job meetings, routine surveillance, air sample exchanges to include environmental stacks and Tritium Stations, shipment surveys per DOT regulations, job coverage, HIGH risk job coverage, radioactive and toxic chemical handling, and posting verification. Perma-Fix as other equipment, for example we operate a Beckman which is a scintillation detector that can detect isotopes which are hard to detect like Tritium (H3) and Nickel. Operation of a High-purity Germanium (HPGe) Detector, for Gamma analysis.
