In charge of processing and reporting on all incoming merchandise, ensuring that it was prepared for the selling floor within 24 hours (or less) of receipt. Also processed merchandise moving out of the store (damages, returns to vendor, store to store transfers, and shipments to customers). Coordinate semi-annual physical inventory counts (8,000+ SKUs). Supervised a staff of 3 with regard to inventory counts. Trained the entire store on the inventory process to improve the process (ticketing issues, missing shipments, etc.). Also ensured accuracy of all transfers (in and out) to prevent any loss to the store. Monitored the stockroom as well as inventory to prevent "stale merchandise", and effected necessary actions.
