PROFILE: Served 27 plus years, in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant Major (Senior Manager). Worked 2 plus years as Senior Logistician for the US Army Communications and Electronics Command. Served as Pharmacy Technician at Crestwood Medical Center, working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. Principal duties included the timely refill of 21 ration Room Pyxis Med stations with various anesthesia scheduled II-V medication. Responsible for the accurate removal and returns scheduled II-IV scheduled medication from Narcotics Vault with zero un-resolved discrepancies. Provides complete coverage for all routine, now and stat orders to include admixture orders (IV) throughout the facility during a 12 hour shift. Coverage included refill and operator service to an additional 18 Med stations throughout the campus. Additional duties included, but we’re not limited to; preparing unit dose packages, oral solutions, and reviewing daily anesthesia reports from daily surgeries.

Pharmacy Technician Externship-Huntsville Hospital Main Pharmacy/Care Direct Pharmacy (01/23/2017-3/15/2017)

Served as a Pharmacy Technician at Huntsville Hospital Main Pharmacy providing medication to its patients, floor stock, and organic department throughout the medical district. and organic departments/units. Familiar with re-stocking of the Pyxis Med Station system and sub-systems (tower and refrigeration). Have worked within the main pharmacy on the carousel system, pulling medication orders and returning stock back into the hospital formulary. Familiar with aseptic techniques required for sterile compounding as directed by USP< 797>. Served as a Pharmacy Technician at a Mail Order Pharmacy that provides compound preparation to over 31 states within the Continental United States. Served as the Brigade Operations Sergeant Major-In-Charge of the 61st Ordnance Brigade S2/3 comprised of Security, Operations and Training. Oversee the Virtual Combat Convoy Trainer (VCCT) and the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 (EST 2000). Periodically perform G3 functions for a Major General billet, manage brigade tasking and scheduling, responsible for planning and coordinating change of command ceremonies, parades, Command Inspection Programs, and Soldier schools. Iraq, Overseas

Duties: Served as the Battalion’s Sergeant Major Senior Enlisted Advisor responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, safety, and accountability of 780 Soldiers, DA Civilians, and DOD Contractors in the largest Army Material Command footprint in Iraq comprised of 14 tenant activities while performing multiple operations in a combat zone without mission failure. Assist in the preparation of all logistical report to higher headquarters.
