Self Description:

Although my original background is in Health Care, I have had significant experiences in several other fields namely Language and Education, Information and Technology and lately, Entrepreneurship.

As a Language Instructor I was exposed to mainly Koreans. I specialized in listening, pronunciation and even pioneered the creation of a syllabus/ curriculum for Screen English with different multimedia as the main material of instruction.

My experience with Etelecare has boosted my capabilities and confidence a hundredfold. In short span of 8 months, I jumped from level 1 Tech Support to Subject Matter Expert to Trainer to Junior Team Leader trainee. It has provided me enormous opportunities to have interactions with multinationals, mainly Americans on a daily basis.

I jumped at the opportunity to work with the Management Team at the Global Lounge at Yonsei University in South Korea because I know that it would boost my chances of finding bigger opportunities to exercise the muscle of globalization. It also provided a very international environment where more than 30 nationalities were present at any time. As the Creative and Technical Supervisor, I handled all aspects of the official website, the Cyber Lounge, as well as participated actively in promotion and advertising of the programs and events. I also spearheaded the creation of an International Student Survival Handbook and the Global Lounge brochure.

With my project management post with Vignettes for Training Inc. an e-learning services company, the honor system and professionalism were observed at the highest level as 95% of communications is conducted online. Responsibilities include coordinating the different departments involved in the production of online based learning management systems, extending client and value added services up to support and managing the professional and interpersonal growth of the production team.

Likewise, with The Translation Studio based in Australia, having had to coordinate clients of different translation and linguistic requirements to hundreds of translators and interpreters from around the world has been so far, the most exciting job of my career online.
