Physician Assistant

Primary care provider serving a wide array of patients from the Raleigh-Durham community including the Research Triangle Park. Involved in all aspects of family practice and individual patient care across the lifespan, including; physical examinations, prescription of medications, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic studies, detailed patient history, development and implementation of treatment plans as well as in-office surgical procedures. Provide weight loss counseling (diet and exercise) to assist patients for goals concerning HTN, diabetes and obesity.

Perform well child checks, school, work and camp physicals, annual wellness physicals and pap exams.

The skill to work in a diverse and multicultural environment, with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

Provide daily assistance and consultation on cases for less seasoned physician assistants within the practice.

Meticulous charting (EMR) of patient information and appropriate coding for insurance reimbursement. High proficiency and competency concerning medical billing and coding procedures via state and federal guidelines.
