Advantage Academy is a PreK-12 open-enrollment charter school district with over 1800 students and 4 campuses located across the Dallas/Fort-Worth area.
Responsibilities include ensuring that the discipline system procedures for students are being implemented and followed by teachers and administrators on a daily basis.
Ensuring implementation of all Federal/State/District level policies and procedures, as well as, adherence by all teachers and staff members.
Implementing Student Code of Conduct and maintaining updates
This is a management/administrative position with supervisory responsibilities for over 100+ employees. Operational duties include employee scheduling and ensuring coverage is provided for multiple campuses. Responsible for screening, interviewing and hiring safety/security personnel.
Responsible for placement and continual evaluation of Safety/Security Personnel

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works with communities to protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Responsible for investigating all claims received of abuse and neglect against children. *Requires extensive case management skills.
Gather and obtain information on all principals involved in case(s). Search criminal databases (NCIC/TCIC), interview collaterals, alleged victims and perpetrators, collect audio/visual evidence and document all information and contacts in Departmental database.
Responsible for taking children into protective custody or referring families to local services and obtaining/enforcing court orders if needed.
