Introduction:

Dedicated administrative business professional with a versatile support skill set developed through experience in several different industries, such as entertainment, food, healthcare and hospitality.

I have been volunteering while continuing to work @ The Carpenter's House as Administrator and recently appointed treasurer, neither of these positions are monetary, however, much learning experience. I am seeking a full time position at this time.

Multiple software knowledge and other applications/systems including; Quickbooks, The Planning Center, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, and numerous specialty softwares for healthcare. Use of ten-key by touch, copier, fax, phone/voice mail, printer, scanner and shredders of different makes and models.

Church Administrator/Sunday All Day/Monday Evenings:

Sunday mornings:

Meet with Pastor, discuss new ideas, problems and resolutions.

One hour prior to services; prepare, set up coffee cart and prepare small snack for children, place Volunteers in areas needed, take attendance, assist with Baptisms and/or teach as needed.

Afterwards assist with tithes and offering count, cleaning and closing.

Sunday afternoons: teach young ladies (20+/- year olds) classes; various subjects.

Prepared dinner for the Teens.

Cleaned when they were finished and sometimes drove a couple of kids home.

Monday Evenings:

Arrive early, assist with preparation of food, drink. and clean up afterwards.

Place items on tables; serving baskets, tithe/offering boxes w/envelopes, pens and a couple of Bibles and note cards.

Assist Pastors and/or Musicians; typed lyrics in PowerPoint and helped set up equipment.

Teach little ones as needed. Sing as needed.

After services pull boxes off tables to secure the monies, then help in whatever capacity needed to close. Sometimes we have a short meeting before leaving. Always last to leave; making sure everything taken care of properly.

Count tithes/offerings and prepare deposit for the next day. Reconciled 3 accounts every month.

Administration:

Have been working with Dr. Cliff Robertson, Jr. for about 2 years; visited other churches in Brazoria County, some as a team, other times alone or with family, observed and reported the way things are done. Not to copy but just for ideas of what we'd like to do or not for different reasons that would or would not apply to the "missionary" church we planted.

Typed meeting notes/reports for Dr. Robertson and other leaders. Handled all posting of accounts payable and receivables in general ledger, made deposits and balanced the checkbook as needed and monthly. Reimbursed volunteers as needed from local checking account and turned in mine and Dr. Robertson's receipts to the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas for reimbursements.

Sending weekly e-mail/texts to Volunteers regarding upcoming meetings and services information. Supervise 2-10 Volunteers at each service.
