Assembler: Electrical assembly from blue prints to a finished product, constant use of hand tools, quality control, assist in training of new employees, and practice policy and procedures.

Team Leader: Lead Tier 1 meetings, attend Tier 2 meeting, responsible to coordinate the daily work schedule to ensure delivery is on time, check for parts, distribute the work load evenly, motivate team, evaluate performance levels are maintained and enforce policy and procedures. Resolved any issues with co-workers.

Production Coordinator: Attend Tier 2 & 3 meetings, effectively communicate and coordinate team leaders to prioritize, expedite, balance work load and create production schedule to achieve a 99.9% on-time delivery of customer orders; interface with purchasing, quality control, supply chain, and shipping personal to ensure the right jobs are moving in order to meet customer delivery; inventory control, identify bottle-necks and recommend solutions before they occur, and to enforce policy and procedures.

Lean Coordinator: Establish and execute Value Stream Mapping (VSM), business cases, and implementation plan in line with annual and strategic plans.

Identify and coordinate lean improvement opportunities (Kaizen events) leading to improvements on time delivery metrics while reducing costs and inventory.

Facilitate Kaizen events to successfully improve business and manufacturing processes. Events to include report out sessions as well as establishment. Tracking of action plans based on opportunities found. Track and communicate progress of lean deployment through ELSS assessment process, lean tracker, A3’s, and lean metrics.

Support plant quality initiatives including developing Process Failure and Effects Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, Method Sheets, and participating in Problem Solving efforts.

Core team member of the CIF implementation and a leadership role in driving manufacturing cost reduction efforts and tracking the resulting savings.

Operation of the feed systems, extrusion, compounding line, and blenders; extrudes and tests for color quality at start-up and post blending finished product; changed packs, checked boiler temps, dryer temps, color changes, and resolved any issues that came up during daily operations.

Select and separate product by account and stop number as designated by the computer-generated label, match product description with label description. Build pallet according to customer guidelines.
