Description
Equator, an Altisource business unit, is the leading provider of software solutions for servicers, real estate agents, vendors and other mortgage and real estate industry professionals. The company’s infrastructure software as a service (iSaaS) solutions include EQ Workstation, EQ Marketplace, EQ Midsource and EQ Portals, which can be used as an end-to-end solution for defaulting process in the real estate domain. Offshore Java development for Equator is handled by a team of 4 individual developers including me reporting to the architecture leads at equator.
Responsibilities
●Involved in the design and development of change requests or orders which involves JAD sessions with BA’s and Arch team.

Description
The Global Data Gateway is the centerpiece of a data management and product delivery environment that allows Experian regions and participating partners to pool their data assets to build a unified global commercial database.
Businesses which are provided by various bureaus are reported in a text file with regional business ids line by line with various other details. Such huge files are processed using Pentaho ETL tool automated by Java through various stages (Reformatting, Validation, Datalload) of cleaning and rejecting the businesses before finally loading the data to DB2. Various other systems queries the business through PDS and SBU Webservices.
Responsibilities
●Involved in the design and development of project since its inception at offshore (Sprint 0)
●Developed Java logic and kettle transformations for business functionalities
●Setup the DEV/QA/UAT environments with required software and install the application

NCI is website used by JP Morgan securities (Bear Stearns) branch managers to check the NCI transactions, get its report, and approve brokers to sell nci to customers. As part of migration of data servers from Bear Stearns to JP Morgan environment, the database insert/update access are lost. So the main objective of the project was to introduce an admin role to the website who can control the users.
Responsibilities
●Developed the new admin role pages for adding, deleting, editing the user access.
●Developed servlets which will call the stored procedures to do the backend functionalities.
●Developed stored procedures which will do the insert/update/delete the entitlements.
●Developer testing.
●Converted the complete website to flex front end.

Description
Smithbarney is an wealth management group of Morgan Stanley. A website for viewing equity compensation portfolios like Employee stock purchase, Insentive stock options, Restricted stocks for the customers. The application uses two kinds of services to retrieve the stock quote value. Real time and 20 min delayed. In the main dashboard of the application, a 20 min delayed quote is displayed and the real time trading wizards uses a real time quote.
The objective of the project is use the show the real time quote on the dashboard. The most challenging part is whenever the quote value is changed in the stock market; it should automatically update every place in the dashboard and subsequent derived values.

●Doing a POC for this project using LCDS functionality like Messaging service (Real time server push)

Description
The main objectives of this project is to include a pie chart and a plot chart (a timeline) on the dashboard so customers can view their total potential worth on the pie chart and other things like vestings, awards, grants and orders on the plot chart again a time axis.
Other application specific requirements are, if the participant is having only a single plan then he should get purchase specific data on the pie chart. This is applicable for options, purchase and restricted stocks.
Responsibilities
●Designed and developed FRD, TDD and test cases for the project and interacted with client for reviews.
●Complete coding of the project with functional help from onsite project co-ordinator.
●Developed pie chart with custom legends and did a work around for showing the pies in clockwise direction.
●Developed a plot chart with custom legends and time on the slider below it, so that user can zoom to the specific date.
●Developed a POC for clicking on one corner of the plot chart component and dragging will expand it.
●Developed effects on the plot chart and slider on client request at the SIT phase. When the slider thumbs reach 20 pixels apart, it should move automatically to the extreme ends and till that time the, a label “Expanding slider” label should be shown on the plot chart and after that it should fade out.

DDsurvey is the survey of disqualifying dispositions the customers could have. If any DD is there, customer is alerted and is prompted to take the survey.

FlauntR is an online photo editor with thousands of one click effects. Users can add effects, edit, stylize their photos online without the need of photo editing software. The front end is fully developed in Flex and action scripting, and the back end in java technology. I was involved in complete implementation of the mailer module and user interfaces for Phototextr and Photoeditr apps.
