The website is an enhancement of the mainframe application. The usual process of mainframe application is to generate employer form with the employee and their claim information, and later mail to the respective employer after 2 business days for validation. The employer goes through the employee inputs and validates it and faxes it back to the office, which is later scanned and stored as offline Pdf by the local office. This process was quiet time consuming and required lot of labor, so a website was built which authenticates the employer and lists his employees and when an employee is selected it will display his information along with the claim details, the employer validates the employee information and submits the page, without having to fax it back. When the page is submitted the information is stored as offline and a confirmation page is generated for reference. Role & Responsibilities:
• Involved in detailed analysis and design of online search page and Form Filing.
• Used Visual Source safe to take advantage of Visual studio .Net source code control features to leverage no intrusive team development capabilities and manage web content effortlessly.

Offline pdf generation is an effective way of storing pdf files in SQL Server. The department handles claimant and employer claims, which allows users to fill the related forms and Save them as pdf files in SQL server database. The no. of forms that are filed per day is more than 500.And each pdf file has size around 150-200kb, this was affecting the website performance. In order to resolve this issue, the data was first stored as xml stream in the main database and later converted to pdf files by a .net component running on offline pdf server, thereby reducing load on the main database. Role & Responsibilities:
• Agile methodology using Behavior driven development practice was used for complete software development.
• Involved in writing stored procedures and triggers querying, batch updates, insertion and Deletion.
