More than 20 years’ experience for the construction of Tunnel Projects (Highway, Railway, and Hydro Power). Minor Highway Structure, road pavement (Flexible and Rigid), plants foundation and various types of buildings sheds.

Knowledge in the different aspects of Project Construction Management and other Engineering tasks such as estimating & costing, planning, scheduling, QSS and Quality assurance and control of concrete & steel structures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED:

Day to day dealing with client and Authority Engineer for review of construction drawings and construction methodology.

Presently involved in construction of Highway Two lane tunnel with both side pathway with NATM Technology and approach road with paved shoulder (hill cutting, sub grade GSB, WMM, DBM and BC) including minor structure ( Box, pipe and slab culvert, RCC drain etc.)

Construction of Single line Railway Tunnel with parallel Escape Tunnel and cross-passage Drilling, Blasting, Mucking and providing support system to tunnel as per NATM Technology (Fixing of lattice girder, SDA bolting, swelex bolting grouting, shotcreting and pipe roofing) with safety.

Construction of Asia’s Longest double lane Highway Tunnel with parallel Escape Tunnel and cross-passage Drilling, Blasting, Mucking and providing support system to tunnel as per NATM Technology (Fixing of lattice girder, SDA bolting, swelex bolting grouting and shotcreting) with safety.

Construction & planning of concrete lining of Main tunnel and Escape tunnel as per NATM with Hydraulic Gantry.

Execution of Road pavement GSB, Dry lean concrete and PQC.

Construction & planning of Head Race tunnel and Adit (D Shaped) of 4.5 m dia in extremely adverse geological strata with very poor, soft rock & flowing ground where tunneling was carried out by NATM and Conventional Technique, (drilling, blasting, providing arch support, lattice girder, shotcreting, pipe roofing (canopy roof),backfill concrete, consolidation & void grouting,fore poling, using machinery like soilmech, schaeff loader, tamrock etc. completion of concrete lining (3.5 m Dia) with CIFA Gantry & Mechanical Gantry. Steel liner (3.5m & 2.5 m dia) in minimum possible time.

Construction & planning of Inclined Pan stock tunnel at 45 and Adits (D Shaped) of 9.5 m dia in soft rock where tunneling was carried out by drilling, blasting, providing arch support, shotcreting, backfill concrete, consolidation & void grouting,fore poling, using machinery like tamrock, marlo lifter, excavator and dumper.

Construction & planning of Underground feeder tunnel connecting to Desilting chamber (D Shaped) of 5.8 m dia. in soft rock and hard rock where tunneling was carried out by drilling, blasting, providing arch support, shotcreting, completion of concrete lining with Mechanical/Hydraulic Gantry.

Construction & planning of Underground excavation of Desilting chamber of 177X15.90X24 mtr. in soft rock and hard rock where tunneling was carried out by drilling, blasting in stages, Cement grouted rock bolting, shotcreting, completion of concrete lining (15 m Dia) with Mechanical Gantry

Executing, supervising & monitoring the construction aspects of the project such as: excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring for Trench wear and Power Intake open channel in cut and cover including lining of channel.

Client billing, certification of sub-contractor’s Monthly RA bills and checking of various claims raised by the contractor as per the contract document, rate analysis, variation, MIS, material reconciliation.
