Green start up facility we started facility from an empty building installed in all machines and secondary equipment.

Facility has 10 injection molding machines all Toshiba tonnage from 150 to 2750 tons.

Robots include Star and Fanuc.

Hands-on processing, maintenance, PM, machine and tooling repairs responsibility. Hands-on responsibility for all machine and tooling maintenance, take care of all TS documentation in molding, order all supplies – equipment, process all new tooling – material trials, run DOE’s – ppaps and establish and write all processes.

4/11 to 4/12, Molding supervisor, Flex Technologies, Lafayette, TN(1 year contract with the company )

Tier 1 & Tier 2 automotive supplier for Ford, GM and Chrysler.

Facility has 16 injection molding machines and 6 shuttle presses, Cincinnati and Newbury 90 ton to 310 ton.

Responsible for scheduling production and maintenance, tooling operations.

Ordered all materials and supplies.

Processed all new tools – material trials, ran doe’s.

12/08 to 4/11, Off Shift Process Engineer / Shift Manager, Innertech, Nashville, IL (Company loss major contract took 85% of work away)

Manufacturer of interior automotive components for Ford.

Facility housed 21 injection molding machines (Husky, Krauss Maffei, Engel) with presses ranging from 850 to 3000 tons.

Robots included Conair, Tracer, and Fanuc.

Worked with Polypropylene, TPO, ABS, and Polyethylene.

Responsibilities included overseeing process techs and team leads.

Hands-on responsibility includes: Optimizing cycles, sampling new tooling, running DOEs, and performing ppaps for new contracts.

9/07 to 12/08, Third Shift Supervisor-Tech, Moll Industries, Laverne, TN (Plant closed due to bankruptcy)

Facility housed 49 injection molding presses (HPM, VE, Cincinnati Milacron, Toshiba) ranging from 150 to 1500 tons.

Robots included AEC brands.

Worked with ABS, Styrene, Rynite, Polypro, PVC materials.

Responsibilities included the guidance of 55 operators and support personnel.

Hands-on responsible for equipment utilization and scheduling of personnel, overseeing quality standards conformance and set up and maintenance operations.

6/01 to 9/07, Third Shift Supervisor, Collins and Aikman, Nashville, TN (One of about 1,000 who were downsized and then plant closed due to bankruptcy)

Tier I automotive supplier of car interior parts for GM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan and Mercedes.

Facility housed 44 injection molding Machines (HPM, Van Dorn, Cincinnati Milacron) with pressed ranging from 150 to 3300 tons.

Robots included Whitman, Conair and AEC brands.

Worked with ABS, PP, Minlon, Nylon, Acetyl and PVC materials.

Responsibilities included the guidance, direction and supervision of 70 employees (Operator, Material Handlers, and Technicians) on shift utilizing a team approach to supervision.

Responsible for equipment utilization and scheduling of personnel, overseeing quality standards conformance and set up and maintenance operations.

Trained personnel including writing up of work instructions for Operators, Relief Operators, Material Handlers, Maintenance and Quality Technicians.
