COMMUNICATION

Strong written and verbal communication skills with others. As an HR Coordinator, I have had to answer hundreds of e-mails a day in order to keep things running smoothly in three different locations with several different levels of management. I also network with several diverse groups of individuals including corporate HR, unit managers, team managers, and employees. I have done employee testing, interviewing, benefits orientations, new employee orientations, career fairs and employee event planning.

LEADERSHIP

My leadership skills include managing three different locations in a global HR setting and providing these locations in Kansas City, Mo,, Aurora, CO, and Cincinnati, OH with information, computer support, advice, troubleshooting, and managing their hiring of employees, terminations, internal transfers, promotions, demotions, lateral moves and any other function that involves one of the three computer information systems that I work with daily. These computer information systems include Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Workday.

Currently assisting with State Street’s implementation and transition from Peoplesoft to Workday. Supporting State Street’s ticketing system to assist with errors and fixing them in Workday and Peoplesoft. Assisting with and identifying challenges and finding solutions in Workday to systematic errors through testing in the Workday sandbox environment and coming up with solutions to provide support to other HR professionals within the Company.

Experience in over fifteen different data bases. The main three systems I work in are: Workday, Oracle and PeopleSoft. I am a part of the Corporate Workforce Administration team which fixes problems in Tyco in all of the United States. I also do all of the medical claims for the Kansas City location.

Responsibilities included working with HR medical claims such as short-term disability claims, FMLA claims, ADA claims. Did all administrative functions for a call center totaling 1000 people. Processed terminations, new hire paperwork, internal transfers, promotions, employee referrals, tuition reimbursement, state and federal tax forms, name changes, and any other administrative paperwork that needed to be processed. I also helped with employee relations issues and pulled unemployment paperwork for the Sr. Generalist. I provided support to all of my co-workers in a fast-paced HR environment. I also conducted new hire presentations and benefits presentations of thirty people in a classroom setting.
