Every 28 days, Honeywell takes Aeronautical data from various data suppliers in ARINC 424. CorePT tool stores this Aeronautical data into Oracle database and then process on these data and produces Navigational databases in several binary formats used by Honeywell products. This Navigational data can be viewed using CorePT Data Utility or by OneNav Tool.
The main aim of V&V/Selection is to produce navigational data that is used by airliners to fly across destinations daily. To produce navigational data, we used PL/SQL programming as a back end and Oracle Forms and Reports as the GUI. We followed Design for Six Sigma methodologies in all the phases of life cycle and one of the Extreme Programming Methodologies (Pair Programming) during Implementation and Testing Phases.
