Academic project: Intelligent Braking System (IBS) Project Description:

The main aim of this project is to design and develop a control system based on electromagnetic controlled automatic braking system called “INTELLEGENT BRAKING SYSTEM”. InfraRed (IR) sensors are attached at both front and back end of the system. The IR sensor is used to detect the obstacle anything either in front and back of the system and the controller unit will send signal to activate the solenoid valve once the obstacle is detected which will actuate the electric brake to apply the brake to brake drum, thus slowing down the vehicle momentum. Thus braking system is used to protect the man and vehicle for the safety measure.
