Managing Docket/Calendar Clerk
Controlled docketing/calendaring operations on ADERANT COMPULAW including creating firmwide and tickler calendar, multitasking attorney assignments and prioritize responsibilities including review and circulation of incoming and outgoing mail, documents and e-mails to be docketed to meet court-ordered deadlines pursuant to state court orders/federal case management orders and of daily, weekly and monthly calendars from trials, pre-trial, motions and appeals, inquest, arbitration/mediation(AAA/JAMS/NAM), discovery court appearances, depositions(NYCAL/50-H/EBT/EUO), opposing solo practicioners and law firms, court reporters and interpreters. Daily monitoring of decisions/memos/so-orders/slip opinions, court appearances and alerts on E-COURTS, ELAW, COURTALERT, COURTHOUSE NEWS and PACER in house. Knowledge of CPLR, FRAP also Local Rules
Attend calendar calls, lawyer/appellate clerical services, consulates, apostilles, government/municipal agencies, ACRIS property record searches, process servers/private investigators filings for service of process including affidavits/certificate of service. Review hard copy documents for court on Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook, electronic filings and retrievals, cite checking, attorney registrations, court fees and passwords, judiciary relations with judges and court personnel, bar associations and CLE, attorney/notarial renewals.
