As the secretary for a production and shipping manager, I assist in many ways. Daily, I receive information from salesman, then create work orders detailing products to be manufactured. I then prepare packing slips to facilitate quick, accurate shipping information when the product is ready for transport. I calculate shipping prices for trucking companies and for our customers. I then contact customers to advise them that their product has been shipped and of the expected arrival date. I review and correct timecards for all employees. I deliver work orders and packing slips to the fork lift operator, so he can prepare packages and calculate weights as needed for trucks and carriers. When I receive orders for carriers, I go online to fill out the paperwork to receive a carrier and to obtain a shipping cost quote. Great organization skills are mandatory in this fast-paced, detail-oriented job.

HYGIENE COORDINATOR/ CHOICE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

June 2017 – June 2018

As the hygiene coordinator, I am responsible for hygiene coordination for two offices respectively. I am responsible for filling both hygiene schedules in the manner that works for each team of hygienists at each location. I confirm all hygiene appointments one week in advance, using a combination of phone, text and email. I also contact patients to schedule their annual cleanings and semi-annual recare. When scheduling appointments, if a patient has specific day or time requirements that are not available, I maintain a list of patients’ preferences and contact them when these appointment times and days open up. I also calculate the bonuses for the hygiene assistant, the hygienists and myself.

RECEPTIONIST/ COMFORT CARE DENTAL

May 2017 – June 2017

At this dental office I started out as a receptionist. In this position I checked patients in when they arrived for appointments. I greeted each patient with positivity. If the patient was new I would welcome them, get their information for insurance and start them on their paperwork. I was responsible for getting their information into their chart quickly and efficiently. For new patients I would make sure our new patient gifts were stocked daily. I would at times check patients out at the end of service and learned how to communicate well with patients when it comes to finances. I would call in prescriptions when asked to do so by the doctor. I was given random tasks to complete whether it be to call patients to schedule treatment or stamp envelopes for our mailers. At the end of the day I would stock the refrigerator with drinks for our patients and fill our pen and Chapstick containers. In this position I was known to never be late and to always stay when more time was needed at the end of the day. I was quickly promoted to the Hygiene Coordinator for two of our offices.

CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINER/LEAD/ BED BATH AND BEYOND

NOVEMBER 2016- MAY 2017

As the Customer Service Lead I was responsible for providing on-going training and education about new products to the associates in my store. My goal was to hold 10 classes per week to keep everyone informed and to enable them to better assist customers. I made a schedule the week before to plan what classes and to whom I would teach. I was also in charge of bridal registries. I went to bridal shows to help engaged couples know to come register and the benefits. When they came to the store I escorted them around the store offering advice about things they may need or want to register for. Each week I sent my District Customer Service Lead a recap on the classes I taught and the registries I completed the previous week.

When this new store came to Twin Falls, I assisted in unloading freight, stocking shelves and preparing for its Grand Opening. As a customer service representative and cashier, I became responsible for greeting customers and assisting them with whatever they may need. I am very energetic and happy at my job because I believe my attitude reflects how most customers act. Often, customers commented on my smile and the attitude I had at work. I made sure the customer service desk was always clean, swept, and trashes were taken out nightly. I also cleaned bathrooms nightly. During slower times, I found things that needed to get done and did them. I transferred to the Pocatello store and was promoted to the Customer Service Trainer.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP

Throughout high school, I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club in their homework room. I was there to help the children stay on task and help them with any homework questions.

In Highschool, I was a member of FCCLA. I was the President of our school chapter. I was also the district Vice President of Community Service for our District Chapter.

All throughout high school, I obtained a church calling. Almost each year I was the President of my age group. I was always inviting and mature for my age.
