Project: At knowledge First Financial I have been working with various technology and business people for a project to bring two applications from different technologies under a consolidated system using various technologies. We are working on Agile methodology for SDLC. I am working on both front-end and backend of the applications. We are using BI tools and web technologies for uniting the discrete systems. My roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Software Developer

●Communicate with End user to understand the business requirements for ESDC processes and in identifying data sources.

●Designed and developed ETL processes using DataStage designer to load data from Oracle, MS SQL, Flat Files (Fixed Width) and XML files to staging database and from staging to the target Data Warehouse database.

●Used the ETL Data Stage Director to schedule and running the jobs, testing and debugging its components & monitoring performance statistics.

●Helped in preparing the mapping document for source to target.

There were different kind of reports in the excel format which serves the purpose of calculation for the management team. I was involved in a team responsible for delivering solutions with an upgraded version of SQL server 2012. This involved the agile methodology as a model. The versioning tool we used is SVN.
