Major project

Power Grid Control Through computer

In this project we can control light through computer. The main aim of the project is to provide a facility by which we can control all the appliances connected to the power grid like bulb, fan, etc. from computer. The only thing is we need to connect a RF remote transmitter to your computer and a control board to the power control section of home.

In this system the wireless communication link is made possible between the RF remote and the control board with the help of RF communication. RF is ideal for effective and long distance wireless communication. The RF remote receives the commands from the computer through the serial communication link and is transmitted in to the air.

This receives the commands transmitted by the transmitter and are given to the microcontroller. Here in this project a power grid is connected to the control up of four devices. Technical Skills

Training period of 28 days from CREST STEEL PVT.LTD at UNA.

In summer training I have knowledge about substation, transformer, furnances, continuous casting machine, cranes and motors and how to make the angles, strong iron etc.

Training period of 42 days from Electrical Substation Hamirpur (220/132 kv). In summer training I have knowledge about control room, transformer, checking faults etc.

The course of design and drafting with AutoCAD (2D & 3D ) training at ProAce institute of advanced simulation at Chandigarh during 01-sep-2015 to 19 – oct -2015.
