Procurement
Execute procurement transactions for RM & MRO based upon created PR from corresponding departments
Contact suppliers for quotations
Compare between all received quotations
Place orders with selected suppliers based upon many criteria “price, lead time, quality, flexibility, dependability”
Follow all shipments with local & global suppliers to execute required logistics procedures
Evaluate suppliers based upon received shipments
Record all cost related to each shipment in order to compare with predetermined budget
Study, evaluate market prices trend in order to take suitable decisions to achieve cost savings
Communicate with all suppliers to build strong relationship to have mutual benefits reflected on business
Communicating with technical department to qualify / approve new suppliers
Logistics (Inbound/Outbound)
Receive sales orders from sales department and Check stock availability against each one.
Release manufacturing orders for non-stock items
Receive FG from quality department
Release/Deliver FG to our customers sites all over KSA (outbound logistics)
Prepare weekly & monthly reports related to FG transactions
Follow up with clearing agents all imported shipments within different ports (seaports / airports / dry ports)
My main achievements in this job include:
Achieved KPI during 2017 (Total purchase/ Total Sales) = 70% noting that sales volume decreased 41%
Maintaining 65% from RM purchase during 2017 within open account payment term
Achieved 20% cost saving during 2017 compared to 2016 in outbound logistics
