EXPERIENCE

Unemployed
January till March 2018, work on Masters Degree; till present unemployed.
AUGUST 2014 – JANUARY 2018
Substitute Teacher, Kelly Educational
Managed to rotate between three school districts as was needed and build an excellent reputation with the school personnel and the students. I worked hard to keep an open line of communication with the staff at Kelly Educational and the schools. While doing this, I made sure that I fulfilled my duties and saw that each student did as they were supposed to do each day in accomplishing their work. In making sure, the students obeyed the rules, followed mine and did their job; I maintained a good response with them, and this allowed them the freedom to speak to me when they felt the need.
SEPTEMBER 2010 – AUGUST 2013
OFFICE MANAGER, AJCE TRUCKING
Handling the daily dealings with clients and managers was a large part of this business. Handled leasing arrangements of vehicles. Made significant income for the company in dealing with provisions of load pickups and deliveries. Communication with vendors, peers, drivers and DOT was a vital part of this organization.
FEB 1989 – JULY 2004
IM ANALYSTS ASSOCIATE, DUKE ENERGY
Performing Ad Hoc queries, utilizing Business Objectives, and QMF I was able to save the company money on the invoices that I audited. With the knowledge of Microsoft products, I was able to develop ways to retrieve data from FMIS and analysis it for utilization of the budget. Taking the information that I had extracted, I was able to help my peers develop a more natural method to a new budget system. Working with our vendors, I was able to audit their invoices and find mistakes, and this managed to save Duke Energy money.
MAY 1990 – JULY 2006
OFFICE MANAGER, H&R BLOCK
Dealing with clients, peers, vendors and IRS personnel this job had to be one of the toughest that I have ever had. It was always a different situation and trying to please some of the clients. Somehow, I still manage to leave them with a smile on their face.

ACTIVITIES
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the movies and taking part in church activities. Looking at old cars and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles are high on my passion list. Taking long walks on the beach, or in the mountains with my daughter or friends is a must. Cookouts in the summer, listening to the children playing in the yard, and many other things that involve bright lights of my life keep me going on my days off.
