On the BG-Knarr project, I designed the concrete mattress deployment frame. On the Pampono conceptual development study, I was the assigned checker of the drawing package. For the Helix Well Containment Group project, I was responsible for the design and modeling of PLET and PLEM using Solidworks.

Mechanical Designer II
On the Bluewater Cheviot project, I designed the umbilical pull-in station for multiple mounting locations on the host facility. Also, I designed the riser spool piece which included a flow-meters and sand detectors. I created subsea P&ID’s along with electrical schematic drawings to integrate the manifold to well control system for Hess Equatorial Guinea project. I was responsible for developing the installation sequence drawings for umbilical removal and replacement. I drafted fabrication details for the subsea rigid jumper on the ENI Allegheny project.
Best Pump Works, Houston, TX February 2010 to March 2012 Mechanical Designer
Designed and modeled installations of pump skid packages, complete with instrumentation and electrical control interface, using Solidworks and Autocad, I created and checked BOM’s. I performed FEA analysis of skid structures to verify they met API standards. I submitted material requests to purchasing for outside vendor orders, and negotiated price and quantity. I supervised welding shop personnel during fabrication of skids. I assisted in installation of pumps, motors and miscellaneous piping and wiring on all projects.

Responsible for creating drawing packages for vertical and horizontal collet connectors, MEC’s, PLET’s and PLEM’s utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Our subsea equipment was sold to Williams, Petrobras and Chevron, etc. Placed in charge of all project folders to maintain redlines and mark-ups.

Drafted proposed pipeline routes for Chevron Sonoma expansion to the Escravos gas plant in Nigeria. Assigned checker for Chevron and Anadarko projects. I was responsible for drafting subsea risers and clamps utilizing Inventor.
Subsea 7, Houston, TX March 2004 to November 2008 Designer II
Responsible for creating conceptual drawings and providing clash checks for interference against crane curve sketches for installation procedures on all projects. For Chevron Lobito Tomboco, I drafted subsea rigid jumper fabrication drawings, and rigging and sea-fastening drawings for mounting on barges before moving to the wellsite. I drafted the man way fabrication to the suction pile load out for use with the PLET’s and PLEM’s.
