Represented, served as lead project engineer and design engineer for the team. Successfully developed the team’s schedule and $1,300,000 budget planning, first and second phases of requirement writing, requirement analysis, use case development, and IMA architecture design development. Results: Projects were completed ahead of schedule (SPI) and within budget (CPI). Additionally, established foundation and baseline requirements and architecture and design for all product deliverables, managed team’s risk and worked with stakeholders.

Led the Orion Abort Decision Logic (ADL) and System Management (SM) Teams. Represented and served as the Process, Risk Management and Metric focal for the team. Successfully lead team to implement and follow Company’s Process Module in order to achieve Capability Maturity Model Integration

Results: Analysis time has been reduced from minimum of 14 days to 7 days, which reduces costs. Deliverables still being utilized today on space station without problems.

Led RDF transition into PVCS, impacting over 1,000 worksites. Represented Command Control Development Group and directed group throughout process of transition from RDF’s to PVCS. Served as main focal for every aspect of project and represented all design engineers, making sure this product and process were user friendly. Results: Project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. Transition was seamless and all deliverable products are now located in PVCS. Trained Boeing Houston Avionics Group on Process Based Management. Volunteered to train team members to develop and write process and procedures for their various work positions. Also instruct students how to utilize root cause analysis methodology to assist them in improving and developing processes and procedures correctly. Results: Assisted Boeing in achieving CMMI Level 5 for NASA projects by training all employees on how to develop process and procedures and to train employees on understanding root cause analysis approach as technique for problem solving. RAYTHEON SYSTEMS COMPANY, Houston, Engineer II 1997- 2001 Led and developed the complete design, development and verification of Plasma Contactor Unit

(PCU) for Electrical Power Systems (EPS) Group. Project was new addition to Space Station. Project had no history documentation. Researched technical publications, interviewed staff that were aware of scope. Designed the system for the entire product life cycle from inception to completion by updating the Pressure Flow Network (PFN) to be integrated with EPS to be able flow the correct amount of plasma at the correct pressure to power the space station when the sun is at eclipse. Results: Successfully developed PCU. Peers were skeptical project could be completed and meaningful. Additionally, project was completed on time and within budget.

VECTOR MARKETING CORPORATION, Alexandria, LA May 1995 – February 1997 Branch Manager Houston, TX, Alexandria, LA, Houston, TX (March 1996– February 1997) Successfully led and managed 60 to 65 member team. Responsible for every aspect of a field profit center, including budget, recruiting, training and development of staff. Identified and developed skills of team members and made appropriate assignments. Worked and coached staff in group and one-on-one settings. Results: Although demographics were not favorable and economy was sluggish, office did very well. Additionally, one representative generated more than $15,000 in less than 3 months, which was exceptional in any area.

HOUSTON LIGHTING & POWER, Bellaire, TX, Engineering Aide Summers 1991-1994 Led/Manage the Transformer Load Maintenance (TLM) project. Data was based on transformers that were either overloaded or under loaded. Given report of all transformer problems in given area. Tasked to confirm current load on each transformer and make necessary work orders based on analysis and recommendations. Forwarded work orders to project manager so work could be assigned to team for completion. Results: Assigned to project from 1990-1992 and completed this project significantly ahead of schedule.
