Equipment Operator (Frac. - Oil Fields). –North Dakota

I was scouted to work for Schlumberger as a temp through Elwood Staffing. I completed all Classroom training and outdoors. Several certificates were achieved and are copied to page below. I was highly involved with Extreme environments, extreme hours, and intense labor. I adapted and took on the challenges well.

• Studied and licensed: General pest management, structural, ornamental & turf, vertebrae, wood destroying organisms, Exclusive knowledge in bedbugs, cockroaches, termites, and onsite training of K-9 detection. My work can be as diverse as Rattlesnakes, roaches, ants, mice, bedbugs, pigeons, to raccoons, etc. in a single day. The diversity of property managers and tenants can be as radical. Beyond my proficient inspections and treatments daily, are added communication issues. From the lowest income to multi-million dollar dwellings, I have become adjusted to deal with new cases of treatments, translations, sanitation issues, regulations, safety, up-sells, and just a straight up ability to read an individuals needs. One must know the way to resolve issues, yet find the root to the cause. Other companies (or techs) can throw a temporary band-aide on the problem. The better individual goes beyond the quick fix. I work as a vendor for many complexes, several residences, small companies etc. I have learned diversity within this company, in many areas. Pests, work locations, properties, and products. All technicians up to date have been trained by myself.

• Studied and received a 3 year Pesticides license. I was involved in a variety of work- from liquid and dry fertilizing of lawns, trees, gardens, and flower beds. I applied fungicide and insecticide to all forms of landscaping. I had also taken on a major role as top salesman while providing solutions to customer inquiries. The job also included work in the shop, such as forklift operations, ordering and stocking shelves. It was also of importance to take needed time to guarantee the proper maintenance and safety of all vehicles. Operating typical Windows and internet programs was also on the daily list, along with maintaining supplies and mixing chemicals for tanker vehicles.

• Obtained UDOT Medical Examiner Certificate, while studying and becoming licensed by Wreckmaster. This was a job with no set hours; calls came throughout the day and night. Tows involved insurance calls, which ranged from changing a tire to Lock-outs, disconnecting drivelines, and transmissions to make the tows possible. I was also on call with Davis and Weber counties for impounds and accidents. This involved a quickness and excellent knowledge of site locating. This involved working along side police, sheriff, and other possible tow companies at the scene of accident. Running both a flatbed and the larger wrecker tow trucks was required along with maintaining and resolving new ways of safely winching in wrecked & odd forms of vehicles.

• I began as a meter reader, with a final title of Field Specialist. Job included monitoring the use of both residential and commercial accounts. It was a must to work independent and unsupervised on a daily basis without issues. Involvement with access issues, billing inquiries, and increasing the companies work guarantees was part of a daily routine. I served along side the line department, by taking on a large portion of completing the companies scheduled power outages (mapping and notifying). I was also designated to manage safety issues with truck inspections, first-aide kits, and fire extinguishers. I was manager of off-cycle work while part of the re-route team. I was then promoted to 2nd manager for the department, while she was away. As a Field Specialist, I had accomplished specific- electrical metering safety, and customer service programs. I involved my skills in certain software, old and updated electronic devices for systems. Collections and cutting power was a large part of my daily routine, along with power meter change-outs. I was an outgoing employee with top volunteer overtime with abundant involvement for programs to help department with issues. Always full of thrive for advancement for my company.

• Trained and hired as switchman, foreman, brakeman, and conductor. A career short lived by its unknown, upcoming lay-offs. Duties included: tying brakes, with air pressure tests. Switching tracks for freight. Daily routine- included Setting up lists for hazardous and scheduled freight cars, for crews and customers. I worked both within train yards and on the road. Traveling and inconstant hours became a lifestyle.

• I studied, trained, and worked in the residential, commercial, industrial, service, and underground utilities of plumbing. Previous to running primarily (Plumbing, under a handyman business license) I had worked for Purdue Plumbing, Whipple Service+, and Utah Mechanical Contractors. I had studied city, county, state, and federal regulations. Required to hire and train laborers and plumbers. Some very large piping jobs required a timely schedule, in which several blocks of residence and businesses would be without water for a scheduled amount of time. “Safety” was of top concern always, involving large equipment, and deep trenches, in which shoring was required to meet OSHA standards. I became Proficient with small and large, hand and large power tools. I had Capabilities to run a forklift, backhoe, track hoe, mini-excavator, and the ability to drive trucks up to 26,000 GVWR. Organization was the key element: Maintaining accounts, quarterly taxes, cutting paychecks, while updating everything with my knowledge of computers and blueprints.
