Title: Trading and Strategic Commodities Planning Manager

Main Responsibilities:

1-Carrying out and mange billets contracts with total qty 70Kt with spend exceeding 30Mn$ and export transactions successful to different locations North Africa & Far East and GCC.

2-Coordinate trading operation for inbound strategic commodities and Prepare / follow up the shipping Docs for the shipments.

3-Work on enhancing the company cash flow through deferred payments and enhanced payments for enhanced cash flows.

4-Follow up with the logistics team the custom clearance for the import / export shipments.

5-Direct involvement in negotiating favorable prices and terms with suppliers (either Foreign or Local), and place purchase orders based on most appropriate quotation.

Follow up on the delivery of the ordered items/machines, and payment to suppliers

10-Manage and implement Mega projects requirements such as Water treatment and Lime project for the start up of the plant.

and closing deals for securing plants regarding semi finished products.

2-Manage Rebars contracts with spend exceeding 200Mn$ for government contracts through securing

billets / external rebars purchasing for fulfilling contract.

3-Coordinate between Plant, Sales, logistics, Purchasing the full cycle for securing the transactions of finished / semi finished production.

4-Manage Mega projects requirements such as power inquiries and substation for the start up of the plant

5-Plan and Oversee stock levels of billets and outsourcing rebars to always keep stock covering production requirements, delivery plans.

6-Analyze the market of billets and rebars to purchase raw materials or rebars at the appropriate times with the best prices and required quality.

7-Propose tenders and follow up contracts to ensure that delivery items are within agreed time frames.

8-Cooperate with sales in forecasting of production volume to propose either to purchase raw materials or finished products and to give recommendations to sales plan.
