MSc Main project Modelling and simulation of Grid-connected Hybrid Renewable Power
Generation systems.
Project Description Modelling and simulation of a grid-connected hybrid renewable power
generation system was performed using MATLAB/Simulink. The hybrid renewable energy
system comprised of a Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind power generation system. The main aim of
this project was to address various issues regarding the performance of a renewable power
generation system and their workable solutions.
B.E. Major Project Application of switched capacitor bank for PF improvement indigenously
made the electronic device.
Project Description The project involved designing of an electronic switching device for the
switching of a capacitor bank to maintain the power factor at optimal level (0.8)
