At present working as an Instrument Technician in EQUATE Petro Chemical Company in Kuwait for Maintenance Division from 13th Aug. 2009 till date.

Worked as an Instrument Technician in KNPC (LNG) GASPORT Project Commissioning From 1st April 2009 to 12th Aug. 2009.

Worked as an Instrument Technician in Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd

E&I Team on Oil & Gas project of KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) sites- NTF, STF, NPP & KNPC – Crude oil Export Facilities. From 7th Feb 2008 to 14th Mar 2009.

Worked as an Instrument Technician in Travancore Cements Kerala, Kottayam for the cement plant maintenance division.in 2007

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Report to Instrument Engineer, Responsible to carry out the following activities,

Reviewing of instrumentation drawings such as instrumentation location and cable tray layout, installation hook ups, junction boxes, loop schemes & cable schedules.

Alarm and trip checks, calibration of instruments like transmitters, level trolls, switches, stroke checking of control valves, I/P Converters, and field calibrating them if required.

Attend daily jobs allotted by the Shutdown Supervisor, procuring the work permit and coordinate with the area operators and control room operators for attending the jobs.

Installing electronic transmitters in the place of pneumatic transmitters and commissioning them as per the procedures lay down.

Attended Safety training conducted at the plant site and listened to fire & Safety instructions and brought them in practice.

Having good knowledge of plant safety rules & regulations.

Good knowledge about Work Permit System and several kinds of permits like Cold work permit, hot work permit, Confined space entry permits.

Ability to read Engineering Drawings, Loop diagrams, P&ID Drawings Logic Diagrams, Installation Details & Hook up Drawings.

Need to co-ordinate with QC (Quality Control) department for the KOC site inspection, punch list clearance etc. Also, responsible for making the inspection and Test records.

Ability to do the job independently.
