Field Service Representative/Site Operations Lead

Charged with the daily operations and maintenance of an industrial water treatment plant. Producing demineralized water for use in reactor water systems and other similar systems within a nuclear power plant, the water produced in the plant is held to very tight tolerances which are achieved using micro filtration, reverse osmosis, electro deionization, catalytic oxygen removal, as well as primary and polish ion exchange resulting in water of the highest purity and resistivity.

Operate and maintain a four process (heat exchanger) salt brine evaporation unit. Maintain chemical inventory and adjust metered valves and pumps for boiler water and cooling water treatment; and the associated testing. Operators are also responsible for conducting pre-work walk downs to clear equipment for LOTO for work on all systems in the unit, maintain logs of work being performed, issuance of hot work and confined space permits and maintaining boilers, heat exchangers and boiler logs.
