We are currently assisting our client, a Global Market Leader, with a Human Resources Manager search located near Akron, OH. Reporting to a President the Human Resources Manager will align business objectives with employees and management, consult management on HR initiatives, assess and anticipate HR related needs seeking to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Manages human resources operations and develops HR and organization strategies in line with business objectives and future requirements

Implements a manpower planning by defining: retention plans, succession plans, skills reinforcement, employees moves inside the company or inside the Group

Complies with the Group HR processes and tools: appraising, reviewing staff job contribution, compensation policy, etc.

Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

Works closely with the Director HR, NA in the application of all HR programs, policies and guidelines

Assists the Director HR, NA in the daily administration of other HR services as directed or assigned, including recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, performance evaluation process, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization

Develops, prepares, generates and analyzes ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to employee personnel information and data, including issues such as benefits costs, staffing levels/deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, applicant tracking, affirmative action/EEO, compensation, promotions, etc.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor Science in Human Resources or applicable work experience required.

Master Degree with HR concentration preferred.

7-10 years' experience in HR

Experience with e-recruitment systems and HRIS

Total Compensation:

100,000 - 120,000
