With well over eleven years of practical teaching experience you will undoubtedly find me capable, highly professional in my approach, affable, timely and highly creative in my dealings with all of my students.

English is my native tongue and as a professional writer in many genres I do clearly speak Standard English in an understandable manner again depending on the diverse needs of my various students. I possess a Teacher’s Certificate number and even after having resigned my official position with the Ministry of Education I have continued to tutor students in English and Writing from ages ranging four years old to adults. My natural creativity as a writer enables me to effectively facilitate learning on the parts of my pupils and the strong personal relationships I tend to build with them further inspires them to make learning and progress a part of their daily lives.

Due to intermittent health concerns working online both as a tutor is ideal for me to support my two teenaged children who have both succeeded at a high level in their education due to my personal support and experience with both English and writing. WORK EXPERIENCE AS A TEACHER:

1.Teacher for 15 years. I was employed at a Professional and certified teacher at the elementary level for ELEVEN years before resigning due to domestic issues. As a qualified teacher I interfaced with a class of thirty every day, worked with a school staff every day and interfaced with parents on a regular basis. All of this whilst delivering a packed curriculum of academics, sporting activities and extracurricular events. Often I would organize and coordinate environmental projects as well as school fund raising projects. In addition I took pride, and still do in instilling the proper morals, values and spiritual virtues that is much needed in today’s society. It was this personal touch that served to inspire my students and thus became the school counsellor in several of the institutions with which I worked. I served as a mentor to my pupils both during and after school hours and taught English Language, English Literature and History to many high school children who required extra attention. This was several years after I resigned my official positon as an elementary school teacher. This was a natural progression for me as my qualifications and work experience equipped me with the knowledge and patience along with my naturally nurturing personality to be a competent and effective teacher at any level.

2.Please also note that the TESOL certificate I now hold comes with over 5 months of practical online teaching of English as a second language. My ratings are always high and I am one of the most requested teachers in that particular company. However I am of the opinion that the base rates are poor in comparison to yours and that given the dedication and attention I give to my students I believe I deserve more compensation.

3.My main stay is and will continue to be teaching despite my extensive work experience and qualifications in several other related fields.
