Identifying Playing Cards May 2018
Developed in python using computer vision techniques
Studied the similarity between cards as a heat map of their similarity matrix for insight
Steps involved image smoothing, edge detection from edge map to extract the boundaries of the card, identifying objects using hough transform and nally, template matching
Two approaches were used and compared for accuracy and speed, rst used the whole card as templates, and second approach used the number and the suite of the card and parsed them separately for a 2 step template matching.
Jobster - Job posting and recruitment website May 2018
Implemented using PHP and MYSQL for back end, HTML and CSS for front end
Modeled a ’linkedin’ like job posting and recruitment website, with functionalities such as - Company and User log in, Job postings by companies, friend requests among users, follow request to companies, applications to jobs, timely noti cations, job recommendation, users uploading multiple resumes, etc.
Steps involved nalizing features, modeling the relational database, normalization of the database model created, and implemented and integrated the back end and front end using MAMP
